Criteria

  • Full participation in the APIE Advance camp at the site
  • Submitting all required documents (report, daily activity logs)
  • Final presentation(online) after the camp

Course Contents

In the APIE Advanced camp, learners develop a web-based service in a group. Each group discusses and designs its own service and deploys it using the technologies covered in a camp week, such as Containers and SQL databases. During the camp week, learners also learn how to make their system “Scalable,” “Highly Available,” and “Secure.”

After the APIE Advanced camp 02, learners are asked to study the “Service design” course on FutureLearn as a prerequisite.

Course Achievement

The badge holder is able to

  • Explain the computer architecture in VM and Container technology point of view.
  • Design and deploy container-based service using Docker
  • Explain the SQL database overview
  • Design and deploy Web service using SQL database with Flask
  • Explain the basic of network security
