APIE e-Workshop

Badge Description

The APIE e-Workshop is a bi-weekly interactive online series where guest speakers — including professionals from the Internet industry, academia, and Internet governance — share their experiences and insights, and engage with APIE learners. Some sessions include hands-on activities, such as Linux basics and network configuration at Layer 2 and Layer 3, including OSPF practices. Learners are strongly encouraged to participate in discussions on topics related to the self-paced online courses taken alongside the workshop and to share their views on issues raised during guest talks with peers from diverse countries and economies across the Asia Pacific region in a small-group setting.

The program consists of six to eight sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, featuring talks and discussions with guests and peers. Additionally, one virtual machine (VM) is provided to each learner to explore virtual machine and network operations, requiring approximately six hours of practice.

Study Requirement: 8 weeks, 4 hours in total
