Special lecture for young people in Asia

Summary:
Mr. Akihiko Hoshide (Graduated from Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department, Keio University), completed his mission with the Space Shuttle "Discovery" in June 2008. He will talk about his experience in the space, and the importance of challenging the dreams for young people in Japan and Asia. We will also introduce the activities of JAXA (Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency) and Keio University in this field. This lecture will be broadcasted to SOI Asia partners for young people in Asia. Question and answer session is available with audience including participants from the remote sites.

* Language will be in Japanese (translation to the local language at the remote sites)
* Admission fee: Free

Target Audience:
Main audience is targeted to the middle school to high school students who will be playing the active role in the coming Space Era. University students, graduate school students and their parents are also welcomed.
