  • 1992 – present: Researcher at the Laboratory for Strength of Materials, Components, and Structures (B2TKS), BPPT, Indonesia. Responsible for conducting research, development, design, and testing of structural strength of existing and new structures.
  • 2005 – 2007: JSPS Post-doctoral Research Fellow, Kyoto University. Responsible for conducting research, development, testing, and publication of response reduction of bridges under earthquake and tsunami forces.
  • 2003 – 2005: Post-doctoral Researcher, Kyoto University. Responsible for conducting research, development, testing, and publication of technology of new seismic damper. The damper has the characteristic of negative-stiffness hysteretic loop, which is effective for seismic response reduction.
  • 2002 – 2006: Teaching Assistant, lectures on Physics, Kyoto University.
  • 1998 – 2000: Lecturer at Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Pramita, Indonesia. Responsible for teaching Engineering Mechanics I and Physics from October 1998 to February 1999 and teaching Engineering Mechanics II and Soil Mechanics from March 1999 to February 2000.
