  • 1994 - 1997 Population and Environment in Eastern Indonesia, the case of Seram Island, Maluku. The study examined the impact of population changes and regional development on the environment of the island.
  • 1994 -1996 Nitrate study on well in Lombok. The study determined nitrat level on wells which were used for drinking and cooking. The study also examined socio-demographic conditions of local people, especially those related to the topic of study
  • 1994 Development and Environment in urban areas of Eastern Indonesia, the case of Mataram and Jayapura. The study examined the impact of development and population growth on the urban environment.
  • 1987 Money flows between a transmigration location and the place of origin, the case of Sungai Paagar, Riau. The study examined the impact of transmigration on regional development in the provinces of destination and origin, particularly through remittances.
  • 1986 Health and environment in Pejaten hamlet, South Jakarta. The Study examined relationships between health and physical environment and socioeconomic conditions of\ Betawi people. A field study was conducted for three months using indepth interviews and field observation.
  • 1986 Family Welfare Association (PKK) in Palembang, South Sumatra. The research evaluated PKK programs and provided policy recommendation for further development of the association.
