Mr. Hiroshi Shimoda, better known as "Piro," is a software developer and
has been developing add-ons for Mozilla software since 2001.  Piro
developed the very popular tab browsing add-on "Tabbrowser Extensions"
in 2002.  Since then, Piro has developed more than 20 other add-ons for
Mozilla products. In 2006, Piro co-authored the book "256 Technics to
Master Firefox" with Noriaki Yamato.  Piro has had numerous articles
published in computer and software magazines related to add-on
development including detailed instructions on how to develop add-ons.
Piro has also lectured publicly numerous times at software development
conferences and seminars on the topic of the development of add-ons for
Mozilla software.  In addition to software development, Piro has many
other interests including publishing his own illustrations as well as
the promotion of web standards.
